KENYA VISION 2030

Kenya vision 2030 is the country's development blueprint covering the period 2008 to 2030. It aims to transform kenye into a newly industrializing providing a high quality life to its citizen by 2030. The vision is based on three pillars, the social, political and economic pillar.
The social pillar seeks to build a just and cohesive society with social equilty in a clean and secure environment.
The economic pillar aims to improve the prosperity of all kenyans trough an economic development program, covering all the forty seven counties 
The political pillar aims to realise a democratic political system founded on issue based politics that respect and protect the rights and freedom if every Kenyan citizen.
The government set the vision 2030 but will it be able to achieve it ? This is the big question that every citizen should be asking him or herself.
So far some investment infrastructure especially road network is visible while the other areas are still at proposal stage and we are yet to see tangible results in these proposals. 
I think Kenya will be able to achieve the vision 2030. The previous government under the leadership of president Uhuru Kenyatta was able to improve infrastructures such as roads, rail, airport and ports.
Several urban roads were constructed by the previous government and the new government is also working on the same . The standard gauge railway was a major step to achieving the vision 2030.
All citizens have a responsibility of supporting the government in order to achieve the vision 2030.
